Lapel, In | Have to disagree with your agronomist. Go with a pair of spiked closing wheels or even only one like I use along with an OEM rubber wheel. I prefer the Martins over the Dawn Curvetines. Some people also use covering chains, but I have not had any problems with using the spikes alone.The cast wheels tend to smash(compress) the soil whereas the spikes firm the seed in the soil, but leave the soil loose on top so drying out is not a problem. | |
