| I have heavy B. Cucumber pressure in part of my area. You refer to glyphosate above and I've had very good results with 32 oz of Roundup OriginalMax or WeatherMax. In areas where the cukes are very heavy, we've added halsulfuron (Permit) at 2/3 oz and had great results. It adds to the cost but it protects the ability to spray over the top up to 28" corn and maintains the crop safety that is given up with growth regulators and other sulfonyl ureas. If you can two pass the post application, you could spray either of the Roundup brands for less than the cost of the SUs and be very safe to the crop. | |
