I don't know if this is available everywhere but here you can subscribe to the legal news. It doesn't cost much and you get a montly newsletter showing everything that comes through the clerk's office. Conveyences, marriages, lawsuits, bankruptcies, etc. Most businesses subscribe to it so they can keep up with things.
