| Nothing like a hickory smoked butt or slab of ribs! I've used Maple on butts, ribs and chicken and they turned out very good as well. I use Red Oak mixed in with Hickory too, helps hold the heat and has a good taste. All done on a home-made cooker made out of a 540 gal NH3tank by my FIL. I don't do the beer think though, Dr. Pepper and coffee are my babysitters! | |
