| My wife makes peanut butter cookies and a kind of cobbler. The cookies even have crossed fork marks. The cobbler is her mothers grandmother's recipe. My wife's family made the grandmother write down the recipe. When the grandmother started to write the recipe, she had to actually measure everything. The grandmother had (I think) 10 kids and she had never measured anything she cooked. With so many kids, the grandmother made everything from scratch and never measured anything. That was the hard part of the recipe. She had to measure something. Best, quick, throw together, simple cobbler recipe I have ever seen. Makes me hungry. | |
