The one article says it happened at 10 at night, but even in daytime that's no excuse for taking something that heavy on that bridge. The guy is pretty lucky the planter caught the back end as it looks like if it hadn't... plus, being 10 at night, no one would have even noticed if it had gone down all the way (not that it probably would have mattered).
