It is just a ediqute (sp)/ courtesy issue.  It sometimes is a little irritating to go paw through some parts book, etc.. get a picture, copy/edit so it will fit on this site/save/ switch back to Question post/respond-insert picture (or whatever) then not hear if it helped or not. 

Simply hunting up a link and providing a link isn't nearly as much hassle. 

Guess the answer lays in,, if a person doesn't want to go to all the hassle then they shouldn't.  Maybe just make the effort and not expect any response.   I dug up a screen shot of a wiper and posted it on the machinery thread, whether it helps or not, I suspect I will never know.  But,, would like to think at least it did. 

Far as the "TIA" thing,, some may feel like the poster stating TIA just expects someone will have the answer ??
