| martin, the low soc. sec. at retirement was one of the first things I thought of as well. Use toi be they looked at your last 5 yrs of contributions when determing S.S. so you could bump up your income at the end & not be hurt so bad. Now, as I understand, they look at your overall contributions so having little or no income can make a sizeable difference on what you will recieve at retirement. | |
