When our kids were little, it seemed like there was always someone with an ear infection around here. A Dr. recommended giving them Dimetapp, because it dries up the sniffles, as well as the wet ears that are the perfect breeding ground for infection. It made a big difference if we started them on Dimetapp when the sniffles started, we had far less ear infections after that. Another bonus is that is causes most kids to get a good sleep.
