I still own a slip scraper. Yes, if you hit a stump and hang on you go over the top into the horses. We dug a basement under our country store by standing two by fours on edge on iron wheel wagon and loading dirt on by hand then pulling it out with Model A Ford truck and then tipping the two by fours to dump the dirt.
