I'd personally think that if you don't have rooms already in nearby (1-2 blocks), you might be SOL, certainly on "room choices". Also, be prepared for sticker shock on room rates. But, now there may be a new cancellation policy. If you don't cancel before Jan 15, your credit card (needed for res) is charged on Jan 15, whether you intend on coming or not. Also, if you don't check in on the 1st night of multi-night reservations (keep in mind, it's already been charged), then your rooms are given away & resold. You get nothing in return. This has to do w/the check-in policy. Make sure you listen to what they're telling you on the phone re. check-in times & cancellations to avoid misunderstandings, which always turn out to be the customers'. Good luck. |
