Mid Michigan | I always thought it would be cool to have a people pull where a person gets harnessed up and has to pull a small transfer sled like the tractors do and see how capable people are compared to machines or horses. Like a 200 lb guy pulling 400 on the sled for X amount of feet. I think it would suprise people how well a man could pull. My ford 9N pulled 205% on a dead weight pull. I would have to pull about 370 lbs on a sled to equal my 9N since I weigh about 185 lbs. I don't know if I could do that or not. That would be about 4 1/2 bags of cement. Might be pretty tough. Would be really fun to watch though and would really bring out the bragging rights! Would probably find out a 40 pound kid could pull 120 lbs really easy and a 200 lb man couldn't do 600 lbs! | |
