N FLA | Went to our jewelers, he said the same thing, they keep digging diamonds, but nobody is buying. But 1400 buys you a very poor quality 1 carat diamond. You probably bought your wife a good quality diamond anyway. Looks like nice, certified 1 carat diamonds are still around 4000. That is a big difference from the ones at zales. Its alot like comparing yugo's and cadillacs, they are both cars, right?
Like i always say, you got a $600 girl, you buy her a $600 ring.
Actually my motto of "you got a $30 head, buy a $30 motorcycle helmet" is the real quote, but I adapt it to many situations. | |
