Extreme SW Minnesota Iowa border | In my spare time, on weekends, I donate my time to a non-profit truck pulling club. I am not a member of the club, and don't do anything with pulling so I get to run the flag, and try to make fair calls and such. I was wondering if anyone in here had any ideas for promotion? The bad economy has really hurt event attendance. Is there anything that we could do to boost things. The club right now, is mainly for pickups, and some small farm tractors. The club is thinking of adding a semi tractor class, or even building a small sled to do 4 wheelers. The club is 100 percent non profit. All of the money goes back to the small towns that host the event. What they charge is just enough to pay for insurance, and fuel. Any ideas would be appreciated. |
