| Rich, we have the opposite opinion of NexTech. Where we live along the Ks./Ne. border there has never been cell service. As the result of a neighborhood petition, NexTech is installing a tower on our farm to serve this area. The parent company Lenora Rural Telephone Company has brought fiber optic right to our farmhouse door. I am told that they have plans in the works to continually upgrade service to our rural area.
When we were limited to Sprint or Verizon land and cell service, we were never considered for upgrades because of the low population density. I think that Rural Telephone is a tremendous asset to our community and am proud to see a small local company be so progressive. | |
