| You need to find out what you are dealing with first before trying to figure out where to go for surgery. You might not need surgery. I am waiting right now for approval from my insurance so that I can get a shot of some rooster comb substance into my knee. I have a lot of arthritis and then two months ago while running after my then 16 month old grandson who was toddling towards a retaining wall and would have fallen. Well, I caught him and pushed him down, but I kept going and fell off the retaining wall. Not very high, but enough to jar my knee. Had an MRI and there is no tear, but lots of wear and tear in there so the orthopedic dr. wanted to try the shot first. So if you have an orthopedic at your local clinic that you can check with first, I think that is what you need to start with. | |
