I got an LG chocolate about 6 months ago. Last month the touch screen quit responding. I didn't have insurance, but it was still covered under the manufacturer warranty. Went into verizon and 2 days later i had a new phone in hand for nothing. It had been dropped a few times and had a nice crack on one side. I got the LG because it had a big screen compared to the blackberries, but ti think i should have gotten a blackberry.
