Iowa | 1940's 2 br bungalow. Siding, furnace, wiring including service panel, central air, water heater, appliances, kitchen and bathroom all new since 2006. Roof has only a few years left in it, otherwise ready to enjoy.
About an hour from "home" in a town built around a nice 7-mile by 2 mile lake w 7500 residents in winter and 13,000 in summer. Lots of stuff always going on.
I keep telling myself it will be a good investment--at least that is how my mind can justify it. Better than a couple of fancy new pickups that will be worth nothing in 10 years (those of you that read initial post may remember I have never had a new vehicle--I wouldn't do it if I had the cash to buy 10, just too poor of ROI.)
Now if we can just find time to use it.......
