Mid North, South Australia, australia | hello guys, we drive a 9750 combine approx 1600km (around 1000miles) from SA to QLD and back most years for contract harvesting, harvest up there for a month, harvest a bit on the way back, then drive back to SA for our later crops. - doesnt hurt them at all, just make sure you increase the tyre pressures as not to kill the tyres - might have a bit of oil come out of the breathers (on the drive) and thats it. done it for last 3-4 years (know other contractors who have done it for a lot longer with no dramas). |
