Grandview Mo. | I abhor everything about what Mr. Phelps stands for; But Jesus says to love your neighbor. I would hope I would have the courage to stand up and say "what these people did to you is wrong (childish imho. After all, they had to stay longer dealing with the problem. DUH, get them out of town, don't hinder them!), but I will help make it right because Jesus loves you despite your message even though none of these people do."
Make no mistake, they would understand why I was doing it, and hopefully I would be able to witness to them of the real love of Jesus Christ, not the brainwashing they have been led to believe. Especially if Mr. Phelps wasn't there (I don't know if he shows up every time or not). I feel sorry for the children of that man who have been brainwashed with the filth he spews, and would hope I could somehow get the real truth into their hearts.
Not sure I would have the courage, but the hope is there. | |
