Even the harness has risk. Had a search and recovery a few years back. A selfclimbing stand collasped. Left hunter hanging by cord around chest. Use a style built to support climbers. You can sit in one of those for a long time.
Took Asst. Chief in once. Stepped off the back of the stand taking aim.
