Kansas | Local Farm Supply store I deal with in thier software has me listed as a farmer and on certain items it will take the tax off and others it won't and I have to be vocal to get it done.
Way it was explained to me to understand if it is tax deductible, If it goes in or on a tractor......or.......... in or on a cow........it's tax deductible. Realizing that hood ornaments and halters are not in that category but it does tend to get old everytime I buy diesel service or Rotella 15w-40 I have to tell them to take off the tax.
