SE SD | Do you guys give your hired men any benefits such as health care, or some sort of retirement to work towards. I am the hired hand been working for the same guy for 15 years. I handle all the day to day operations, all the maintinece on machinery, ordering parts, and telling the other employees what to do. I get paid a decent wage and have a company phone and thats all. Really there is nothing here for me to work towards. A job has recently come up in town with a nice wage, and good benefits. Dont get me wrong I love working on the farm, but why should I be making him money when there is no future in it for me. Am I barking up the wrong tree or is there a good solution. | |
