Boog Thanks for that link. But, I don't think R-O water & D-I water are the same thing, are they? I have a portable in-line d-i water maker & it's comprised of only 2 filters. We attach it to our garden hose to "rinse" our equipment after power-washing. No spots, none. The only time you get spots is after you're all done, then have to start the machine to move it & the darn engine fan spits water. Some of that water is still going to be the 100% soft water (not d-i) that we use for washing. I think the d-i water has a warning against drinking, but probably only in continuous large amounts, though that's my take on it. I think Ed Boysun (hasn't been here in a while) has a R-O plant in his house for water. |
