Kansas | Last summer in wheat harvest one truck blew a tire and blew hard enough it took off the mudflap, hanger and all. I haven't ever replaced it, but yesterday after making a dozen or so trips to the elevator in the last month, it dawned on me that the license plate was attached to that mudflap, so over the course of the past month, I've been driving a truck with no license plate. I know I've passed several "official" vehicles but apparently none of them thought to check their rear mirrors. Will be going to courthouse today, then have to figure out how to mount the plate as the taillights don't have a hang down thing and the back plate of the truck looks to be pretty thick steel. No place on the front bumper to put it either (I know some do it that way here in KS). | |
