12 beers a day for years may make you a diabetic. Drinking diet pop will NOT make your sugar go down. Alcohol IS sugar. Your body is trying to tell you something is wrong. Go to the doctor and ASK FOR AN A1c test. That will tell all.
Post the results if you want to. I am interested to see how high it is.
