Mid Michigan | We went many years ago. Seems like endless strips of gold and jewel stores, electronics, pawn shops, deli's, banks, pawn shops, adult book stores. Just wave after wave of the same stores when you come into town. We went to statue of liberty, times square at night quite a few times, broadway, empire state building, New York Nicks game at Madison square garden, china town. We stayed at a hotel on 47 street. Was pretty good. Just walk everywhere. Seems like the city has a real smell to it all the time like garbage or soot or something. I was ready to go home after a few days. | |
