| Do you vaccinate your calves with blackleg or give them fall shots? I try to give calves a clostridial shot when they are born or some won't make it to branding time from overeating. It's definitely tougher going selling calves here in the fall when they don't have their shots. I never used to give cows shots beyond Bangs and IBR/BVD/PI3 as yearlings. Now I try give MLV and lepto/vibrio shot annually in the spring so I can give the calves MLV shots in the fall. | |
