Your put strategy certainly is paying off, but would you have expected this sort of run up to make it so successful? In your marketing do you just plan on the 'insurance' cost of puts so you don't have to contract or sell actual bushels? Another way to do it is to sell and buy a call to protect upside - still seems expensive, but then again so is seed (and everything else)
