| Oil still looks to be in a sideways trend. Weekly unemployment filings have consistently been "above expectations" regardless what corporate earnings have done. How much of corporate earnings is due to the weak dollar and inflation? Housing numbers are still horrible, and I think we're going to see another drop in home prices this winter. Recent high school grads and recent college grads are having a hard time finding a job, that's going to really bang on the bottom end of the housing market, and the upper end ain't so hot, either.
As far as 2011 weather, good luck with that. We've had 3 extremely wet years in a row, chance of a 4th? Quiet sun=? I really think all bets are off as global circulation patterns seem to have changed somewhat. | |
