| I feel your pain...I've got no use for 'nosey' cops, with no evidence, digging around or asking to search with no cause...don't get pulled over in Shawnee County KS on I-70 by the sheriff dept. My buddy worked there years ago. After they give you a ticket, they'll walk away, turn around and ask to search your car...they don't have a cause...they just ask, and most people say 'OK'.
I've noticed more KS / NE HI-POs hiding, with lights off, in ditches, ravines, behind dirt piles, bushes, ect. in the last 6 months than all my previous years combined. Must be how the new recruits are trained. If they were actually stopping crime, I wouldn't mind, but they're just out 'collecting tax'.
