No such thing as a township government here. Where I grew up, there are maybe 10 houses in the township? Maybe less. Lowest level in Colorado is city (if you are in the city limits), then county. Washington County where I grew up is about 2500 square miles. Including towns the population is about 5000, with 1500 of that in Akron.
