Thanks for your opinion WhiteRiver1.  I didn't want to give too many details because I wanted people to comment on the principles, not on the fact that it was about gay people.  From what I read, there's a petition going around asking that he gets fired.  However the school district has no power to fire an elected school board member.  Best way to get rid of him is probably peer pressure... lots of it!
