Circa 1950, some friends from our area were walking around a state park in Indiana.  One of the guys that hung out around the town, was not the brightest, but was known for his humor, fell dead.  They found a bullet wound on the top of his head, and the bullet in his brain.  Nobody had heard a sound.

Point is, bullets have to go somewhere.  If you worried about every possibility, you could go nuts.
