Several years ago my son & I were in my pu driving down the hwy during a bad storm. We were following a car ahead of us when suddenly it's taillights disappeared. I slamed on the brakes & got stopped just before hitting a downed tree. I backed up to go around the tree & backed into a tree that had fallen behind us. Don't know how we got so lucky. The tree in front missed that car as well.
