NE NC | Cotton can get plenty of acres in the south above 80cent. 11 crop is not going up in proportion to the 10 crop. Unfortunately we sold most of our cotton in the 79 cent range for 2010 but we have a little better marketing plan for next year. Hindsight is always 20/20. The past few years we have been 50/50 cotton and beans. We will probably move our cotton acres up significantly if we can get a new picker to service those acres. | |
