So what fresh sire genetics are available with maternal and performance traits, I haven't found anything that really excites more for a few years.

It has been a problem with the breed. Post Rock 200P2 has done very well for many people. I am using a son of 200P2.

JBOB Carolina Fortune has earned his numbers but the calves seem to be a bit average for my liking.

I personally am going back to 20 to 40 year old genetics AI to bring back some of the old proven sires.
