| I agree, but keep in mind government is sort of socialist just by it's very existance. We all pool our resources to build roads, bridges, armys, etc. Gates and company are good at running a business that occasionally plays pretty hardball with competitors and it may not be in the best interest of our gov't to be totally controlled that way.
However, to contradict myself, would it be such a bad thing for various agencies of the gov't force to meet performance goals set by guys like Buffet or face dissolution? Every piece of equipment we as farmers own has to carry it's weight or it's gone (or becomes a toy).
