Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | Around here, putting larger tracts of land together makes the whole farm worth more, especially if you want to rent it out at some time down the road a few years. It also makes farming easier for you and your son to have land close together.
Sounds like you can afford to buy it without causing too much hardship. BUY IT!
Also, look at it as a long term investment. Nothing else paying much better than land right now. Good thing about land you can see it, touch it, and grow food on it. Can't do that with CD's and stocks. |
