Subject: Re: Ruger Mark III

There are several good, affordable .22 rf semi's. The Ruger 22/45, Smith 22A, and the Beretta NEOS, all very similar and we have been giving around $200 for them. The Browning Buckmark has better fit and finish, but commands a higher price. All can be upscaled for additional costs. Look at one with a rail that will make it easier to add an AimPoint, or Red Dot (or even a scope) for greater easy for beginning shooters. Also increases the fun factor. Unfortunately, there are no longer any good, affordable double action revolvers. A Smith is going to run $600. Ruger does have some very good single actions at decent prices.
