East Kansas, DeSoto | During the service in the Air Force I was in charge of a 50 caliber turret machine gun range in Texas and we fired at a jeep flying a target behind a bank making trips around an oval track. A wild boar came across in front of target range and all 25 twin 50's mounted in the turrets stopped shooting and they looked up at me in the command tower and I just nodded my head all of those 50's started shooting a the boar. What a site all the dirt stirred up around him and he traveled about 1/8 mile before they brought him down. Pointed the guns up in air and walked out to view. At one dollar a bullet that was one expensive boar but it was better target practice that the flying flag. Bullets were dipped in paint for recording your color in the target. Gifford
