I also have a Smith & Wesson 22A, this is a great rimfire gun. The handle is more comfortable than the Ruger and I like the weight of the gun. Cheap gun too for plinking. Easy to disassemble and put back together. Only downfall is the plastic piece the hammer hits, I have yet to replace mine, but it will need it eventually.
