That is a fair price for that gun. I have shot many Ruger Mark III's and they are awesome guns. 7in barrel is going to be more accurate. I would get a fluted barell and the hunter model. A nice place to find guns online is www.gunbroker.com. The only problem, you can't see and hold the gun, but you can find some good deals.
