The bank is only the tip of the iceberg, what about the unsecured creditors, people who supplied them with feed, and other supplies. The Dutch came over with big ideas and they seemed to be somewhat arrogant. But a lot of them found out how ugly it can get over here. Also the people who recruited them were nothing but scam artist. Two dutch started dairies in our area but one went broke and left the country and left 1.8 million he brought over. The other farm is in a real struggle as it's really tough to buy all of your feed in this environment today. They are good managers and hard workers but sometimes thats not enough especially in the dairy business right now.
