The point is/was to buy some calls up there out of the money, and buy em right from a cost perspective.
It's simply because that is a type of insurance move so to speak to share in an up, If an up occurs.
Keep in mind the original poster's concern was searching for ideas on how to share in some up, if said occurs.
Does not matter if you buy em in kpax, or whatever month ( buy when feasible, that simple ).
Obviously when you went to Nov, you may have found some higher priced calls probably due to extra time value.
Keep in mind, MOST options expire worthless. | |
