Hard telling when you may end up getting the payment, depends on how many screwups there are in Kansas City.

Still don't understand how making the payments come out of KC is more cost effective VS money being disbursed from loca FSA office.



Also realize that the payment will not be made until the county office has keyed in all your production history. This has to be done tract by tract. Offices that didn't pay much attention or work closely with producers to get the production in the right format will have a difficult time getting everything keyed in by the Oct 28 projected payment date if they have a lot of ACRE farms in their county.

I was told that for the final direct payments that county offices PT's have to click 4 times for every payment. This means for each crop on each farm number. Then the CED has to go in and click a couple more times for each. This is all after the farm has already been approved and paid an advance.

The only thing I see KCMO being more effective at is payment limitations. Before there was a lot of work involved in coordinating the limitations between counties for multi-county producers. Now it is being done more automatically @ KCMO.
