Why don't you guys try this. Get there a little early in the morning and get the tractor warmed up, turn on all the valves and make the first round, then when he gets there say "here you go dad, if anything goes wrong call us."Oh. bring him a lunch too, he will probably appreciate that. Some of us adapt to the new stuff easily and sometimes it seems like it just isn't worth the effort for as little time we have left to use it. An experienced man with a cell phone and a decent pickup is the best gofer you can have. I'm sure he has a lot of useful skills besides just being a tractor driver. I know at my age I can be more help by helping keep all the machinery running than by trying to run a piece of it myself. Cut us old guys a little slack!
