2.) We try to avoid it. I often end up spraying and windrowing on Sundays because they are the most time and weather sensitive operations here. We will plant or thresh if the weather is threatening. We usually work two or three Sundays during Christmas Tree harvest.
3.) That would have to be discussed prior to the work commencing.
4). Some folks won't even answer the phone on Sunday. It's a free country. If you don't want to harvest on Sunday, state upfront that you don't. It might cost you a few customers. There are consequences for every action.
During harvest especially, I find that a Sunday to rest and rejuvenate makes the whole rest of the week go more smoothly. I don't fault anyone who doesn't subscribe to that mentality though.
