| "Honor the Sabbath and keep it holly" is one of the Ten Commandments , same as "Thou shalt not kill", and "Thou shalt not steel." I can easily see how someone could be honoring the Sabbath by cutting corn or beans on Sunday, but as a long time custom harvester I always chose not to work on Sundays. I always told a new customer that I would not be cutting his crop on Sunday and if that was a problem he should find someone else. Most every farmer I ever worked for respected my beliefs. | |
