I agree with you. If you have government subsidised insurance and then have a major disaster the government will give you more money but if you self-insure (not costing the government anything) then have a major disaster you are SOL. Just some more of the cockeyed government logic. I quit insuritng my crops several years ago and feel that I am still ahead even with the two total crop failures that I have had. To Each His Own.
